Prior to joining the financial services industry, Adam spent time working in Parliament as an agent organiser whilst he completed degrees in Politics & International Relations and a Master’s degree in Political Philosophy.
In 2006, he established New Forest Wealth Management Ltd, a practice with St. James's Place Wealth Management. Adam has worked hard to develop a breadth and depth of knowledge and is fairly technical in terms of his approach.
Adam is a Society of Later Life Advisers Partner specialising in long-term care advice. He is also an expert in tax and trust planning and holds the advanced CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) paper in taxation and trusts. Additionally, he is a Fellow of The Society of Will Writers and holds the advanced certificate in will preparation with The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Adam is committed to ensuring that his industry knowledge remains relevant and current by placing strong emphasis on personal development. This, along with the pride and dedication placed on developing solid personal relationships with his clients, ensures that he is able offer a rounded, professional and principled service.
Adam divides his time between servicing clients’ needs and providing educational talks to the public and professionals on will writing and estate planning. His principal focus is providing intergenerational financial advice to help clients’ money grow free and unfettered by unnecessary taxation or other burdens.
When not at work, he races sled dog teams, plays for and manages a local league football side and tinkers with his growing collection of motorcycles.

Vikki is the Practice manager in the office. She deals with the overall running of the businesses and manages the administration team as well as coordinating the advisers and developing all involved. Working alongside Adam, Vikki is the central hub of the business operation and works extremely hard to make the office run smoothly and ensures that any problems are dealt with efficiently and to exceptional standards. When not running the business, Vikki divides her time between racing sled dogs with Adam, shoe shopping and dissuading Adam of the need for further motorcycles.
Steve started his financial services career in 1994 at Friends Provident where he became an executive consultant in 1998 before becoming self-employed in 2003. Two years later, he left the life insurance company to join St. James's Place Wealth Management.
Steve is an inheritance tax and investment planning specialist and has focused much of his business on helping clients grow and protect their family wealth.
Away from work, Steve is a keen golfer and Portsmouth Football Club supporter.
Most of Sarah’s many years in financial services were spent operating her own successful company within St. James's Place Wealth Management. Following a career break to complete a degree in Environmental Science, she is now pleased to be back in financial services as part of the team at New Forest Wealth Management.
Sarah is now heading up the Practice’s mortgage department, alongside providing general financial planning. She says that the most important part of her role is being able to assist clients in achieving their financial goals in a wide range of areas. Sarah aims to ensure your experience with New Forest Wealth Management is positive in every sense and meets your complete satisfaction.
Sarah has 20 years Secretarial and PA experience, the last 10 years of which have been in the legal sector. She previously worked for the Private Capital sector of a leading law firm, dealing mainly with clients requiring Wills and/or Lasting Powers of Attorney but also complex Probate matters as well as Tax and Estate Planning. Sarah is proficient in a wide variety of secretarial duties as well as attending client meetings to assist with estate planning and assisting with Probate related documentation.
Sarah is enjoying her new career with New Forest Wealth Management and is very keen to learn how the team work and hoping to develop her skills further.
Michael initially joined us as part of a short work experience programme prior to starting a business degree in September at the University of Warwick.
However, Michael’s enthusiasm, attention to detail and willingness to learn have seen him join the Practice team in an administration role until his university studies commence.
It is hoped that once they are completed, Michael will return to the Practice to continue his career development with us. When not at work, Michael is a keen martial artist and volunteers with the training of police cadets.
Heather has more than 25 years’ experience working as a personal assistant within client orientated roles and has been with St. James's Place Wealth Management since 2010.
Heather ensures that Practice manager Vikki has the support she needs and also oversees the day-to-day running of the client servicing department. She is in regular correspondence with our clients to keep them abreast of the fast pace of change within the tax and financial planning landscape.
Carol is an administrator in the client servicing department of New Forest Wealth Management. As well as regular client mailings, she looks after our growing database of clients and keeps the factual information up to date.
Carol also makes appointments for Director Adam Johnson and Adviser Steve Gedge and has the almost impossible task of getting Partners and clients together at the right place and at the right time. Her diary management skills are an essential component of New Forest Wealth Management and enable the Partners to have the maximum amount of time available to spend with clients.
